The GMC Terrain CUV, is a medium-sized crossover utility vehicle and a
product of the GMC. If sources are to be believed, it replaced the
Pontiac Torrent in the past that sold away the same dealerships before
GM dropped the Pontiac brand and is based on Theta platform, similar to
the Torrent.The GMC Terrain has a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing
about 182 hp and a torque of 172 pound-feet. Choice for SLE-2, SLT and
Denali Terrains is with 3.6-liter V6 that brings out a huge 301 hp and
272 lb-ft. Both engines come out with an automatic transmission of
six-speed.
